REPUBLIC ACT No. 4939
An Act Providing for the Establishment of a National High School of Fisheries in the District of Tinambacan, City of Calbayog, to be Known as the Tinambacan National School of Fisheries, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Public Schools, a school of fisheries in the District of Tinambacan, City of Calbayog, to be known as the Tinambacan National School of Fisheries.
Section 2
The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Section 3
The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
