REPUBLIC ACT No. 4828
An Act Establishing a Fresh-Water Fish Farm and Hatchery in Barrio Looc, Municipality of Cardona, Province of Rizal, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor, and for Other Purposes
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established and maintained, a fresh-water fish farm and hatchery under the supervision of the Philippine Fisheries Commission at a suitable site along the lake foreshore of Barrio Looc, Municipality of Cardona, Province of Rizal, to be known as the Rizal Fresh-Water Fish Farm and Hatchery, which shall primarily perform the following functions:
Section 2
The Commissioner of Fisheries shall promulgate such rules and regulations not inconsistent with law as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this Act.
Section 3
The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the fresh-water fish farm and hatchery during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the project for the succeeding years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
