REPUBLIC ACT No. 4752
An Act Providing for the Establishment of a National School of Fisheries in the Municipality of Looc, Province of Occidental Mindoro, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established, under the supervision and administration of the Director of Public Schools, a school of fisheries in the Municipality of Looc, Province of Occidental Mindoro, to be known hereafter as the National School of Fisheries of Occidental Mindoro. The Director of Public Schools shall promulgate, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Education, the rules and regulations to carry out the purposes of this Act. Said Director shall also acquire the necessary site for the school.
Section 2
The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, the necessary sum for the same purpose shall be included in the General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
