An Act Creating the Municipality of Pasil in Mountain Province

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

Barrios Balatoc, Guinaang, Pugong, Ableg, Dalupa, Magsilay and Cagaluan in the Municipality of Lubuagan, and Barrio Balinciagao in the Municipality of Balbalan, all in Mountain Province, are separated from said municipalities and constituted into a distinct and independent municipality to be known as the Municipality of Pasil, same province. The seat of the municipal government shall be decided by the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Pasil upon assumption of office.

Section 2

The first mayor, vice-mayor and councilors of the new municipality shall be elected in the next general elections for local officials in nineteen hundred sixty-seven.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
