REPUBLIC ACT No. 4616

An Act Authorizing and Approving the Transfer of the Franchise Granted to Melvic and Company, Incorporated by Republic Act Numbered Thirty-Seven Hundred Thirty-Eight in Favor of Jose S. Mercado of Cebu City

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

Subject to the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Thirty-seven hundred thirty-eight, entitled "An Act to grant the Melvic and Company, Incorporated, a franchise for an electric light, heat and power system in the City of Toledo and the Municipalities of Aloguinsan and Pinamungajan, Province of Cebu," the transfer of the franchise granted to Melvic and Company, Incorporated by the said Act, in favor of Jose S. Mercado of Cebu City, is hereby authorized and approved.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
