REPUBLIC ACT No. 4231

An Act Appropriating the Sum of Six Hundred Thousand Pesos for the Construction of the Building and Dormitory for the Regional Centre for the Training of Teacher-Educators in Asia (Sponsored by UNESCO)

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

There is hereby appropriated from any sum in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of six hundred thousand pesos for the construction of a building for the Regional Centre for the Training of Teacher-Educators in Asia (Sponsored by UNESCO) and of a dormitory for the trainees thereat.

Section 2

These Centre building and dormitory shall be constructed at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, on a lot to be set aside for the purpose by the Board of Regents of the University.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
