REPUBLIC ACT No. 4187
An Act Authorizing the Sale of the Parcel of Land with All Improvements Thereon Owned by the National Government Located at 354 Juan Luna Street, Binondo, Manila and Appropriating the Proceeds Thereof for the Construction of Building or Buildings in Quezon City for the Bureau of Forestry
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The sale of each of the parcels of land with all improvements thereon located at 354 Juan Luna Street, District of Binondo, Manila, owned by the Government of the Philippines and designated as Lots Nos. 14, 15 and 17, Block 2013, is hereby authorized.
The Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources shall cause to be published twice in the Official Gazette and in three newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines a notice of such sale be sealed bids. The property shall be awarded to the highest bidder: Provided, That if no satisfactory bid is offered, the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources may, after a new notice of such sale, cause another bidding by sealed bids to be held.
Section 2
The proceeds of the sale of the property hereinabove mentioned are appropriated for the construction of such building or buildings as may be necessary to accommodate the various offices of the Bureau of Forestry in Diliman, Quezon City.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
