REPUBLIC ACT No. 3812

AN ACT CREATING THE POSITION OF SUB-PROVINCIAL ASSESSOR FOR THE SUB-PROVINCE OF CAMIGUIN, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED TWENTY HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE.

Section 1

Republic Act Numbered Twenty hundred twenty-one, is hereby amended by inserting after Section five thereof a new section which shall read as follows:

Sec. 5-a. The sub-province shall have a sub-provincial assessor who, under the direction and supervision of the provincial assessor of Misamis Oriental, shall perform the duties of assessor for the sub-province. The sub-provincial assessor shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines with the consent of the Commission on Appointments and shall receive a compensation of three thousand six hundred pesos per annum.

"Upon the appointment of the sub-provincial assessor, all assessment records for the sub-province shall be transferred to the office of the said sub-provincial assessor but official copies thereof shall likewise be kept at the office of the provincial assessor."

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
