[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 362, June 09, 1949 ]
AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE STUDY, CONTROL AND ERADICATION OF THE "KADANG-KADANG" AND OTHER DISEASES PESTS OF COCONUT TREES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The sum of three hundred thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary and certified to its availability by the Auditor General, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National treasury otherwise appropriated, for the study, control, and eradication of the "Kadang-Kadang" and other diseases or pests of coconut trees.
Section 2
The Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources shall, subject to the approval of the President of Philippines, promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
