REPUBLIC ACT No. 3476
An Act Providing for the Establishment of a School of Fisheries in the Municipality of Narvacan, Province of Ilocos Sur, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Public Schools, a school of fisheries in the Municipality of Narvacan, Province of Ilocos Sur. The site for the said school of fisheries shall be determined by the Director of Public Schools.
Section 2
The Secretary of Education shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 3
The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said fishery school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-three. Such sums as may be needed for the same purpose in subsequent years, shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
