AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC LIBRARIES TO COMPILE AND PUBLISH IN BOOK FORM THE SPEECHES, MESSAGES, AND OTHER WRITINGS OF THE LATE PRESIDENT MANUEL A. ROXAS, WHICH SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED WITHOUT CHARGE TO ALL PUBLIC LIBRARIES SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES, AND SOLD TO THE PUBLIC AT COST.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The Director of Public Libraries is hereby authorized to compile and publish in book form the speeches, messages, and other writings of the late President Manuel A. Roxas, and to distribute the same without charge to all public libraries, schools and colleges, and to sell copies thereof to the public at cost.
Section 2
The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
