REPUBLIC ACT No. 3407
An Act to Amend Sections One and Two and the Title of Republic Act Numbered Thirteen Hundred Thirty-Six
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
Section one of Republic Act Numbered Thirteen hundred thirty-six is amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 1. The site of the provincial capitol of the Province of Camarines Sur is hereby transferred from the City of Naga to the Municipality of Pili, Province of Camarines Sur.
Section 2
Section two of the same Act is amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 2. The President of the Philippines is hereby authorized to select the new capitol site within the locality mentioned in Section one hereof, upon recommendation of a Committee to be composed of the Director, National Urban Planning Commission, as Chairman, the district engineer, provincial assessor, provincial auditor, provincial treasurer, provincial commander, and the division superintendent of schools, as members.
Section 3
The title of the same Act is amended to read as follows:
"An Act transferring the site of the provincial capitol of the province of Camarines Sur from the city of Naga to the municipality of Pili in the same province.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
