REPUBLIC ACT No. 339

An Act Appropriating the Sum of One Million Pesos for the Construction, Repair or Reconstruction of Provincial Hospital Buildings

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

Out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, there is hereby appropriated the sum of one million pesos or so much thereof as may be necessary to be expended by the Secretary of Health, subject to the approval of the President, for the construction of provincial hospital buildings in all provinces which do not have provincial hospital buildings, as well as for the construction of nurses dormitories, physicians quarters, and other necessary buildings. This amount may also be used for the repair or reconstruction of other provincial hospitals.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
