REPUBLIC ACT No. 3347
An Act Granting Gratuity to the Widow and Children of the Late Representative Juan M. Reyes and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds for the Purpose
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. The widow and children of the late Representative Juan M
Reyes who was among those who died in the sinking of S.S. Corregidor in December 1941 are hereby given a gratuity of fifteen thousand pesos.
Section 2
There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of fifteen thousand pesos for the purpose indicated in the preceding section. Said amount shall be exempt from all kinds of taxes.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
