REPUBLIC ACT No. 3175
An Act to Further Amend Commonwealth Act Numbered One Hundred Eighty-Six, as Amended, to Provide for the Payment by the National Government of the Additional Premiums for Services Prior to June Sixteen, Nineteen Hundred Fifty-One
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
Subsection (a) of Section seven of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred eighty-six, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
> "Sec. 7. Additional amounts or premiums. -(a) For the amount of annuity corresponding to the services rendered by an employee prior to June sixteen, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, the National Government shall pay the necessary additional amounts or premiums as may be determined by the System, which shall be paid in equal annual amortizations for a period not to exceed fifty years under such terms and conditions as the Board may prescribe. The sums necessary for this purpose are deemed appropriated in accordance with Section twenty-seven of this Act.
Section 2
This Act shall take effect upon its approval: Provided, That the additional amounts or premiums for services rendered prior to June sixteen, nineteen hundred fifty-one, payable by an employer which are unpaid as of the approval of this amendatory Act shall be paid by the National Government.
