REPUBLIC ACT No. 3161
An Act Converting the Pagalungan Health Center in the Municipality of Pagalungan, Province of Cotabato, into an Emergency Hospital, to be Known as the Pagalungan Emergency Hospital
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The Pagalungan Health Center in the Municipality of Pagalungan, Province of Cotabato, is hereby converted into an emergency hospital, to be known as the Pagalungan Emergency Hospital.
Section 2
Said emergency hospital shall be under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, and the Secretary of Health shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 3
The operation and maintenance of said hospital shall be governed by the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred thirty-nine, otherwise known as the Hospital Financing Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
