REPUBLIC ACT No. 3052
An Act to Amend Reorganization Plan No. 13-A of the Department of Health
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. Paragraph two of Reorganization Plan No
13-A of the Department of Health , is amended to read as follows:
"2. There shall be an administrative division, an inspection and sanitation division, a detention service division, and a vermin control division in the Bureau of Quarantine. The Secretary of Health is hereby empowered to designate the respective sections of these divisions and to transfer appropriations and personnel from the field operations, quarantine services to the Bureau of Quarantine for the proper operation of the said bureau upon recommendation of the Director of Quarantine.
Section 2
Paragraph three of the same Reorganization Plan, is amended to read as follows:
"3. The Quarantine Stations and Detention Stations now belonging to, and being operated by, the Bureau of Quarantine shall, together with the Manila Quarantine Station, be directly under the supervision and control of the Director of Quarantine.
Section 3
Paragraph five of the same Reorganization Plan is repealed, and Section four of Republic Act Numbered One hundred twenty-three is revived.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
