REPUBLIC ACT No. 2692
AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A REGIONAL NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF LA UNION TO BE KNOWN AS THE LA UNION REGIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.
Section 1
There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Schools and to be headed by a superintendent, a regional national agricultural school to be known as the La Union Regional Agricultural School, within the Province of La Union.
Section 2
The Director of Public Schools is hereby empowered to locate and acquire, or cause to be located or acquired, a suitable site for the purpose of this Act which shall be a private or public land situated in the Province of La Union.
Section 3
The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school for the school year nineteen hundred sixty to nineteen hundred sixty-one. Thereafter the necessary sum for said purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
