REPUBLIC ACT No. 2648

An Act Creating a Branch Office of the Register of Deeds of Samar, with Permanent Station at Borongan, Samar

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

There is hereby created a branch office of Register of Deeds of Samar in the Municipality of Borongan, in the same province, which shall perform all the duties and functions of the register of deeds for the following municipalities: Balangiga, Giporlos, Quinapundan, Salcedo, Mercedes, Guiuan, General MacArthur, Hernani, Llorente, Maydolong, Borongan, San Julian, Sulat, Taft, Can-avid, Dolores, Oras, San Policarpio, Arteche, Maslog and Jipapad.

Section 2

To carry out the purpose of this Act, there is appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated the sum of eight thousand two hundred eighty pesos which shall be spent as follows:

"(a) Deputy Register of Deeds

₱2,400.00

1,440.00

(i) Sundry Expenses

3,000.00

₱8,280.00

Section 3.

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
