REPUBLIC ACT No. 2415
An Act to Establish in the Barrio of La Granja, Municipality of La Carlota, Province of Negros Occidental, a Branch of the College of Agriculture of the University of the Philippines, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There is hereby established in the barrio of La Granja, Municipality of La Carlota, Province of Negros Occidental, a branch of the College of Agriculture of the University of the Philippines, which shall offer courses as may be determined by the said college of agriculture.
Section 2
The personnel of the branch shall be appointed as members of the staff of the College of Agriculture of the University of the Philippines, on detail in the said branch: Provided, That the personnel shall draw their salaries directly from the budget of the branch.
Section 3
There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of the funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one million pesos to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon the date the funds authorized herein to be appropriated are provided for.
