REPUBLIC ACT No. 2408

An Act to Convert the Maigo High School in the Municipality of Kolambugan, Province of Lanao, into a Trade School to be Known as the Maigo Trade School, Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The Maigo High School situated in the Municipality of Kolambugan, Province of Lanao, is hereby converted into a trade school to be known as the Maigo Trade School, and the Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

Section 2

The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the maintenance and operation of said trade school for the school year nineteen hundred fifty-nine and nineteen hundred sixty. Such sums as may be necessary thereafter for its maintenance and operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon the date the funds authorized herein to be appropriated are provided for.
