REPUBLIC ACT No. 2386
An Act Authorizing the Durano and Company, Inc. and the Universal Cement Company, Inc. to Widen and Concrete, at Their Own Expense, the National Highway Fronting Their Cement Plant in the Municipality of Danao, Province of Cebu, and the Municipal Streets of the Towns of Danao, Carmen and Catmon, All in the Province of Cebu, and to Concrete Such Other Public Improvements Therein as May be Designated by the Municipal Councils Thereof
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. The Durano and Company, Inc
and the Universal Cement Company, Inc., are hereby authorized to widen and concrete, at their own expense, the national highway fronting their cement plant in the Municipality of Danao, Province of Cebu, and the municipal streets in the towns of Danao, Carmen and Catmon, all in the Province of Cebu, and to concrete such other public improvements therein as may be designated by the municipal councils thereof: Provided, That all the public works contemplated herein shall be done under the supervision of the highway district engineer in the Province of Cebu and in accordance with the standard plans and specifications of the Department of Public Works and Communications: Provided, further, That no reimbursement for costs of the works contemplated herein shall be paid by the government to the Durano and Company, Inc. and the Universal Cement Company, Inc.
Section 2
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
