REPUBLIC ACT No. 2275

An Act to Authorize the Establishment of a Fresh-Water Demonstration Fish Farm Nursery at the Municipality of Camalaniugan, Province of Cagayan, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Thereof

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The Director of Fisheries is hereby authorized to order and cause the establishment of an experimental and demonstration fresh-water fish farm nursery at the Municipality of Camalaniugan, Province of Cagayan, and to maintain in operation such fresh-water fish experimental and demonstration station under his control and supervision.

Section 2

The sum of fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry into effect the purpose of this Act during the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and sixty. Thereafter, the necessary amount for the operation of the project shall be included in the Annual General Appropriation Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon the date the funds authorized herein to be appropriated shall have been provided for.
