REPUBLIC ACT No. 2238

An Act to Authorize the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office to Hold a Lottery for the Benefit of the "Asociacion De Damas De Filipinas"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is authorized to hold a lottery, the whole proceeds of which shall, after deducting the payment of the prizes and expenses as provided in Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred sixty-nine, as amended, be turned over to the "Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas" for the maintenance of its settlement house.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
