REPUBLIC ACT No. 2088

An Act Converting the Mambusao High School in the Province of Capiz into a National Agricultural School, Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The Mambusao High School in the Municipality of Mambusao, Province of Capiz, is hereby converted into a national agricultural school of the Iloilo National Agricultural School type, to be known as the Panay National Agricultural School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

Section 2

The sum of two hundred and fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said school for the school year nineteen hundred and fifty-eight to nineteen hundred and fifty-nine. The necessary funds for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
