AN ACT SETTING A NEW TIME LIMIT FOR THE FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR FREE PATENTS, FOR THE JUDICIAL CONFIRMATION OF IMPERFECT OR INCOMPLETE TITLES, AND FOR THE REOPENING OF JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS ON CERTAIN LANDS WHICH WERE DECLARED PUBLIC LANDS.

REPUBLIC ACT No. 2074

An Act Appropriating Additional Funds for the Operation and Maintenance of the Bureau of Prisons During the Period from July First, Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-Seven to June Thirtieth, Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-Eight, and for Other Purposes

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The sum of five hundred thirty-five thousand two hundred sixteen pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for additional expenses for the operation and maintenance of the Bureau of Prisons during the period from July first, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight: Provided, That not less than twenty per centum shall be used for the building program of the Bureau of Prisons: And Provided, further, That any balance thereof remaining unexpended at the end of said fiscal year shall be available for expenditure during the next fiscal year.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
