REPUBLIC ACT No. 1948
An Act Converting the Lumbatan Junior High School in the Municipality of Lumbatan, Province of Lanao, into a National Agricultural School to be Known as Lanao National Agricultural School, and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The Lumbatan Junior High School located in the Municipality of Lumbatan, Province of Lanao, is hereby converted into a national agricultural school of the Central Luzon Agricultural School type, to be known as the Lanao National Agricultural School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.
Section 2
The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said school for the school year nineteen hundred fifty-seven and fifty-eight. The necessary funds for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
