REPUBLIC ACT No. 1854

An Act Providing for the Establishment of a Vocational High School in the Municipality of Guihulñgan, Province of Negros Oriental, to be Known as the Guihulñgan Vocational High School and Appropriating the Necessary Funds Therefor

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Schools, a vocational high school in the Municipality of Guihulñgan, Province of Negros Oriental, to be known as the Guihulñgan Vocational High School, to offer courses in trade and agriculture.

Section 2

Upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Schools, the President shall set aside and reserve such portion of the public lands located within the Municipality of Guihulñgan of said province as may be necessary and convenient for the establishment of said high school.

Section 3

The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said high school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred fifty-eight. Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.

Section 4

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
