REPUBLIC ACT No. 1786
An Act Converting the Pontevedra High School in the Municipality of Pontevedra, Province of Capiz, into an Agricultural School to be Known as the Capiz Agricultural School, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The Pontevedra High School in the Municipality of Pontevedra, Province of Capiz, is hereby converted into an agricultural school to be known as the Capiz Agricultural School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.
Section 2
The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight. Such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance is subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
