REPUBLIC ACT No. 1577

An Act Appropriating the Sum of Sixty-Three Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Two Pesos to Enable the Government of the Philippines to Meet its Commitments with the South East Asia Treaty Organization

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The following sums are appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the period from July first, nineteen hundred fifty-six to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred fifty-seven, for the purpose specified hereunder:

| 1. For Philippine contribution to the SEATO Secretariat | ₱42,512.00 |

| 2. For the SEATO Division, Home Office, Department of Foreign Affairs: | |

| (a) One Chief of Division, Foreign Affairs Officer Class II | 7,200.00 |

| (d) One Stenographer-clerk | 2,760.00 |

| TOTAL | ₱63,572.00 |

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
