REPUBLIC ACT No. 1309

An Act Appropriating Certain Sums to be Paid as Compensation to the Children of the Late Representatives Lorenzo P. Ziga and Gregorio B. Tan

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

Out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of fifteen thousand four hundred eighty-one pesos and twenty-nine centavos is appropriated to be paid as compensation to the children of the late Representative Lorenzo P. Ziga, and the sum of fifteen thousand four hundred eighty-one pesos and twenty-nine centavos is appropriated to be paid as compensation to the children of the late Representative Gregorio B. Tan, both of whom died in line of duty. These amounts shall be exempt from all kinds of taxes.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
