AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXISTING LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) EXTENSION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DOLORES, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR, INTO A REGULAR DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Upgrading of the Existing LTO Extension Office in Dolores, Eastern Samar
The existing Land Transportation Office (LTO) Extension Office in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Eastern Samar, is hereby converted into a regular district office.
Section 2. Funding
The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the regular LTO Extension Office in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Eastern Samar, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3. Effectivity
This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which is originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on November 7, 2023, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on December 17, 2024, and which amendment were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 21, 2025.
