AN ACT DECLARING MARCH 21 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF CALAPAN, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS CHARTER ANNIVERSARY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
March 21 of every year is hereby declared a special non-working holiday in the City of Calapan, Province of Oriental Mindoro, in commemoration of its Charter Anniversary.
Section 2. Repealing Clause
- Republic Act No. 8986 declaring March 21 as a working holiday in the City of Calapan is hereby repealed.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which is originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on November 21, 2022, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on December 17, 2024, and which amendment was concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 21, 2025.
