[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12136, March 27, 2025 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE LAS PIAS LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) LICENSING EXTENSION OFFICE INTO A REGULAR LTO LICENSING CENTER AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The Licensing Extension Office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) located in Las Pias City is hereby converted into a regular licensing center to be known as the Las Pias City LTO Licensing Center.
Section 2
The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Las Pias City LTO Licensing Center, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the Las Pias LTO Licensing Extension Office. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the continued operation of the Las Pias City LTO Licensing Office shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
