[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12129, March 14, 2025 ]
AN ACT UPGRADING THE DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE CITY OF DIGOS, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR, FROM CLASS "D" TO CLASS "C" AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur is hereby upgraded from Class "D" to a Class "C" district office.
Section 2
The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO District Office in the City of Digos, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of LTO Region XI. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on September 18, 2023 and December 18, 2024, respectively.
