AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAAL, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, INTO A DISTRICT OFFICE TO BE KNOWN AS THE TAAL LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The existing extension office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the Municipality of Taal, Province of Batangas, is hereby covered into a regular district office to beknown as the Taal LTO District Office.
Section 2
The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Taal LTO District Office, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the LTO Extension Office in the Municipality of Taal, Provice of Batangas. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the continued operation of the Taal LTO District Office shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on August 9, 2023 and December 18, 2024, respectively.
