Nineteenth Congress Third Regular Session
[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12101, December 13, 2024 ]
AN ACT DECLARING NOVEMBER 7 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CUENCA, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, TO BE KNOWN AS "CUENCA FOUNDATION DAY", IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
November 7 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the Municipality of Cuenca, Province of Batangas to be known as "Cuenca Foundation Day:, in commemoration of its founding anniversary. Upon proclamation of the President, November 7 of every year shall be a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Cuenca, Province of Batangas.
Section 2
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on September 5, 2022, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on September 9, 2024, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on September 25, 2024.
