AN ACT DECLARING FEBRUARY 24 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY TO BE KNOWN AS "ARAW NG SIBUGAY", IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDATION DAY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
February 24 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay to be known as "Araw ng Sibugay", in commemoration of its Foundation Day.
Section 2
This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in a national newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on September 5, 2022 and August 27, 2024, respectively.
