Nineteenth Congress Second Regular Session
[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12004, June 13, 2024 ]
AN ACT CREATING A DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE IN THE THIRD LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT OF THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
A district engineering office of the Department of Public Works and Highways is hereby created in the Third Legislative District, Province of Bulacan, to be located in the Municipality of San Rafael, and referred to as the Bulacan Third District Engineering Office.
Section 2
The Bulacan Third District Engineering Office shall serve the municipalities of San Rafael, Doa Remedios Trinidad, San Miguel and San Ildefonso, all located in the Third Legislative District of the Province of Bulacan.
Section 3
The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Bulacan Third District Engineering Office, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on May 23, 2023 and March 19, 2024, respectively.
