Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-sixth day of July, two thousand twenty one.
[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11867, June 29, 2022 ]
AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE CONGRESSMAN NATALIO P. CASTILLO, SR. MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LOON, PROVINCE OF BOHOL FROM TWENTY-FIVE (25) TO ONE HUNDRED (100) BEDS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. The authorized bed capacity of the Congressman Natalio P
Castillo, Sr. Memorial Hospital (CNCMH) in the Municipality od Loon, Province of Bohol is hereby increased from twenty-five (25) to one hundred (100) beds. Any future increase in bed capacity shall be consistent with the hospital development plan which shall be prepared by the Chief of Hospital of the CNCMH, and submitted to the Department of Health (DOH).
Section 2
The existing professional health care services and facilities of the CNCMH shall also hereby upgraded to conform with and be commensurate to the bed capacity increase as provided in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3
The existing workforce of the CNCMH, which includes doctors, nurses and support personnel, shall also be increased correspondingly.
Section 4
The Provincial Government of Bohol shall provide the necessary funds to cover the maintenance and other operating expenses of the CNCMH. It shall also appropriate funds for the human resource complement to support the increase in bed capacity and the corresponding upgrading of its service facilities and professional health care services.
Section 5
The Secretary of the DOH shall include in the Departments subsidy program, support for the capital outlay requirements of the CNCMH.
Section 6
If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 7
All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
Section 8
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on January 20, 2021 and May 31, 2022, respectively.
