AN ACT NAMING THE FIRST CEBU-MACTAN BRIDGE TRAVERSING THE MACTAN CHANNEL LOCATED AT A.C. CORTES AVENUE IN BARANGAY LOOC, MANDAUE CITY UP TO THE MANDAUE-MACTAN ROAD IN BARANGAY PAJO, LAPU-LAPU CITY, BOTH IN THE PROVINCE OF CEBU, AS SERGING VELOSO OSMEA JR. BRIDGE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The First Cebu-Mactan Bridge traversing the Mactan Channel located at A.C. Cortes Avenue in Barangay Looc, Mandaue City up to the Mandaue-Mactan Road in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City, both in the Province of Cebu, comprising a total distance of 854 meters, is hereby renamed as Serging Veloso Osmea Jr. Bridge.

Section 2

The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders, and circulars to implement the provisions of this Act within sixty (60) days from its effectivity.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.
