AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATAINGAN IN THE 3RD DISTRICT OF MASBATE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There is hereby established a district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to be located in the Municipality of Cataingan which shall serve the 3rdDistrict of Masbate and its neighboring towns.
Section 2
The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO District Office in the Municipality of Cataingan, Province of Masbate, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
The Secretary of Transportation shall formulate the necessary rules and regulations to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on January 20, 2021, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on January 31, 2022, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on February 2, 2022.
