AN ACT ESTABLISHING A LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) DISTRICT OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE, IN THE LONE DISTRICT OF DINAGAT ISLANDS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established a Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Office in the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Dinagat Islands to be known as the Land Transportation Office - Dinagat Islands District Office.
Section 2
The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO District Office in the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Dinagat Islands, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
Within six (6) months following the effectivity of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on January 27, 2020 and January 31, 2022, respectively.
