Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-sixth day of July, two thousand twenty one.
[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11741, April 27, 2022 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LILOAN. PROVINCE OF CEBU, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There is hereby established a district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) located in the Municipality of Liloan, Province of Cebu.
Section 2
The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO District Office in the Municipality of Liloan, Province of Cebu, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
The Secretary of the DOTs shall issue the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on June 4, 2020 and January 31, 2022, respectively.
