Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-third day of July, two thousand eighteen.

REPUBLIC ACT No. 11209

An Act Changing the Name of Lupon School of Fisheries in Lupon, Davao Oriental, Into the Davao Oriental Polytechnic Institute

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

Section 1 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 298 is hereby amended to read as follows:

> "Sec. 1. There shall be established a school of fisheries in the Municipality of Lupon, Province of Davao Oriental, to be known as the Davao Oriental Polytechnic Institute."

Section 2

All laws, decrees, executive orders, rules, regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
