REPUBLIC ACT No. 11142
AN ACT DECLARING SEPTEMBER 1 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF JASAAN, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY, TO BE KNOWN AS "ARAW NG JASAAN"
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
September 1 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the Municipality of Jasaan, Province of Misamis Oriental, in commemoration of its founding anniversary, to be known as "Araw ng Jasaan".
Section 2
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.
