Seventeenth Congress Third Regular Session Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-third day of July, two thousand eighteen.
REPUBLIC ACT No. 11104
AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE LUIS HORA MEMORIAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL FROM ONE HUNDRED (100) TO TWO HUNDRED (200) BEDS, UPGRADING THE SERVICE FACILITIES AND PROFESSIONAL HEALTH CARE THEREIN, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress assembled:
Section 1
The authorized bed capacity of the Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital in Bauko, Mountain Province is hereby increased from one hundred (100) to two hundred (200) beds which shall be implemented for a period of not more than three (3) years from the approval of this Act.
Section 2
The existing hospital facilities and professional health care services of the Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital are also hereby upgraded and increased to conform with and be commensurate to the increase in bed capacity.
Section 3
Upon prior consultation with the Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital, the Department of Health shall, in coordination with the Department of Budget and Management and the Civil Service Commission, determine the additional plantilla positions to be created and filled up in the workforce of the Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital.
Section 4
The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 5
All laws, decrees, orders, issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
Section 6
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazetteor in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
