Seventeenth Congress Third Regular Session Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-third day of July, two thousand eighteen.

REPUBLIC ACT No. 11103

AN ACT UPGRADING THE AMAI PAKPAK MEDICAL CENTER IN MARAWI CITY, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress assembled:

Section 1

The bed capacity of the Amai Pakpak Medical Center in Marawi City, Province of Lanao del Sur is hereby increased from two hundred (200) to four hundred (400) beds.

Section 2

The existing hospital facilities and professional health care services of the Amai Pakpak Medical Center are hereby upgraded and increased to conform with and be commensurate to the increase in bed capacity. The number of medical personnel shall be correspondingly increased.

Section 3

The increase in the bed capacity of Amai Pakpak Medical Center shall be implemented incrementally for a period of not more than two (2) years from the approval of this Act.

Section 4

The construction and upgrading of the hospital facilities and services shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Department of Health.

Section 5

The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in the Departments programs the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 6. Republic Act No

7943 is hereby repealed.

Section 7

This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazetteor in a newspaper of general circulation.
