REPUBLIC ACT No. 11066

AN ACT CONVERTING THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) LICENSING CENTER IN THE CITY OF BATANGAS, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS INTO A REGULAR LICENSING CENTER TO BE KNOWN AS THE BATANGAS CITY LICENSING CENTER OF BATANGAS CITY, BATANGAS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Licensing Center in the City of Batangas, Province of Batangas is hereby converted into a Regular Licensing Center to be known as Batangas City Licensing Center.

Section 2

The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Departments program the operationalization of a Regular LTO Licensing Center to be known as the Batangas City Licensing Center, the funding of which shall be charged against the current years appropriations of the Batangas City Licensing Center. 'Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the continued operation of Batangas City Licensing Center shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) national newspapers of general circulation.
