Seventeenth Congress Second Regular Session Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of July, two thousand seventeen.
REPUBLIC ACT No. 11062
AN ACT CONVERTING THE CALOOCAN CITY EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORATATION OFFICE (LTO) LOCATED IN MUNTINLUPA CITY, INTO A REGULAR LTO DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The existing Land Transportation Office (LTO) Extension Office located in Muntinlupa City is hereby converted into a regular LTO District Office.
Section 2
The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of a Regular LTO District Office in Muntinlupa City, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the LTO Extension Office located in Muntinlupa City. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the continued operation of the Regular District Office shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
The Secretary of the DOTr shall promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after it publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
